Puppies from Bets' LakeSide Canines are selectively bred to AKC Breed Standards; with health and temperament being of utmost importance. I am a small show breeder and do not have a kennel. I am retired and home with my dogs every day. They are never boarded. All my dogs are health tested annually; including heart, eyes and patellas to be sure there are no genetic problems that could be passed on. I do not breed to sell puppies. I breed primarily for myself, and when I need something new to show, or add to my line. Occasionally, I have puppies available. I take time to evaluate puppies for Show prospects, so please do not expect to bring your new puppy home before 10 to 12 weeks of age. Puppies are raised in my home with lots of love and attention. They are well socialized, paper-trained, and housebreaking started before they leave for your home. As part of their evaluation process for Show, puppies are trained to walk on a lead, stand on the table and have their bite examined. Prospective Buyers will be screened to be sure my babies are placed in homes that will give them the care and love they need every day. So, if you are inquiring about a puppy, please include some information about yourself and specifically what you are wanting. All puppies are sold with a 1 year written guarantee against all genetic defects, and come to you with all the required vaccines for the age of the puppy. A Health Record is provided with each puppy. If you are interested in either a Companion or Show puppy, please contact me to see what is available. Companions are not to be shown or bred, therefore, are sold with limited AKC registration. Show quality puppies are sold with full AKC registration; and are to be shown. I do not sell Show quality pups at Companion puppy prices.
